Rob.  Such a genuine guy.  Calm, reassuring but would always quietly state the case if he felt it required input.

He was one of our original helpers when Women on Water was established 9 years ago.  We bestowed him with an honourary title for those few hours.  So many of our sailors were helped by him

anything wrong with any boat or trailor - or anything in actual fact - it would be a frantic yell in the direction of Rob.  
Our Chipstead training boats were mended or adapted by Him - Quietly and efficiently.  No fuss.

we even spent an amazing morning over at his Archery club, being instructed on the ins and outs of that sport.  Eye opening.

Such lovely memories of a wonderful personality.
